With summer being here the activities are going strong! This weekend is Frederic Family Days with lots to do for everyone of all ages. From the softball and volleyball tournaments for the adults to the moon walk and dunk tank for the kids (or grown kids). There will also be a street dance and fireworks and many sidewalk sales and garage sales. Definitely an event to check out!
Clam Lake also has their women's fishing tournament this weekend. Ladies, get out there and decorate your fishing boat or pontoon and join the fun!
Enjoy the fun filled weekend!

The day has come that we have all been waiting for...warm weather! It is gorgeous here today; low eighties, the sun is shining and the wind is calm. This is the kind of day that being out on the lake fishing (or in my case, reading) is the most relaxing place to be. If you have been contemplating finding your own peace and quiet don't miss the chance to own a lake cabin!

We are having gorgeous weather in the northwoods! With the recent rain we've had most of the snow is gone and grass is appearing everywhere! Some of the lakes are opening up around edges which is a sure sign of spring! We will likely get our late March snowstorm but the precipitation is needed and will likely melt in time for Easter.
Last weekend was a lively one in Siren with the St. Patrick's Day parade; the town had a great turn out! This coming weekend is going to be the Webb Lake parade for St. Patrick's Day and there is always a lot of people that go and enjoy themselves and take in the festive atmosphere!

Spring is here in the northwoods! The snow is melting, the grass is peeking through and the birds are singing daily! Now is the time to start looking for that perfect cabin so you can be in by Memorial Day. There are a lot of great opportunities out there to be had!
This weekend in Siren will be the Siren St. Patty's Day Parade; it is a great weekend to come and take in the festivities and familiarize yourself with the local businesses, lakes and the wonderful people in the area. The St. Paul Winter Carnival is amoung the parade go-ers so you may even see a familiar face!
